Our team

Catherine Boyle is head of compliance at iSure Underwriting, responsible for ensuring the company is compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements.

She joined iSure in April 2020, having previously spent 17 years working for Quinn Direct/Liberty Insurance across a variety of roles, including sales, marketing, training, quality assurance and risk.

Outside of work, Catherine is a keen cyclist and enjoys nothing more than heading out regularly with her local cycling club. She is also a volunteer with Autism NI, and helps to run their local support group.

Rita Russ is an underwriter at iSure Underwriting, currently working on the UK side of the business dealing with renewals and cancellations for the Sports & Leisure scheme, Medical Malpractice scheme and Beauty & Allied Health scheme.

She joined the company in July 2018, but has been in the insurance industry for nearly 40 years, with experience as a broker and underwriter, working for Royal Insurance, GA Bonus and Bluefin to name a few.

Outside of work Rita lives in a semi-rural location and loves going walking and mountain biking during her lunch hour and at weekends. She also entertaining and foreign holidays when allowed.

Simon Bowring is Underwriting Manager at iSure Underwriting, responsible for driving forward the Sport & Leisure product, and the Medical Malpractice and Beauty & Allied Healthcare product.

He joined iSure in June 2019 to develop the S&L product. He had previously worked at Sportscover for 3 years where he headed up the Leisure team. His insurance background has also covered Film and Entertainment insurance.

Outside of work, Simon enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters – the eldest of which is a middle distance athlete, and the youngest a county level gymnast. When not taking them to competitions or training, he enjoys watching and playing cricket and football, swimming and taking part in ultra-distance marathons around the UK.
